Scholarships
Dream big and let us help make those dreams a reality!. We are dedicated to helping minorities in the Las Vegas area to achieve their career and life goals, may it be a career in supporting the politics you believe in, or becoming the next President of the United States of America.
Armstrong Family & Associates is all in when it comes to supporting your dreams and we are here to help you. Our scholarships contribute to the higher learning of two students per year, applied to their Historically Black College and (HBCU) or UNLV. Our goal is to create support in such a way that the students can focus more on their scholastics and goals, instead of worrying about how to finance them.
If you feel just as strongly about your education as we do, please apply and let us help mold your future. We're rooting for you every step of the way.
Educational Scholarships will be awarded in increments of $1,000 paid directly to your HBCU or UNLV . The funds can be applied to any college or university expense. The applicant's area of study must be supportive of their political aspirations, and weigh heavily in classes such as Law, Political Science, Business Administration, Business Science and/or Communications.

Our Mission
Armstrong Family & Associates is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides college scholarships to deserving minority high school graduates from the Greater Las Vegas communities. Our goal is to assist those who have a strong desire to further their education and who have been accepted to a Historic Black College and University (HBCU).
We desire to carry on a legacy of giving back to the local community that was first realized long ago through Ray & Ross Transport, Inc. That internationally recognized bus company, established by Sammie Ross Armstrong and his business partner Douglas Ray McCain in 1972, was 100% African-American owned, and operated out of Las Vegas, Nevada, for over 25 years. During that time, the company actively participated in educating young people in the trade. When it closed, that mission had been accomplished.
This Foundation was Sammie Ross Armstrong’s new vision for the future. He wanted these scholarships to be the helping hand for deserving students to attain decision-making political offices at the local and national level. His goal was to infuse more integrity into our political system.
We eventually hope to grow this beyond the High School level, to include undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate support. those whose aspirations and abilities will take them into the political arena, where they can make a difference in the future of our great country.
